A Horse with Wings (sung by Imogen from “Cymbeline”)

If I had a horse with wings
I would fly so high
I would fly up to the clouds
Way up in the sky

My horse would carry me
Through the air
We would feel the warm sun
And wind in our hair

If I had a horse with wings
I would fly so high
I would fly up to the clouds
Way up in the sky

My horse could go  anywhere
Even far away
When others plod it in a week
Mine would glide in a day

If I had a horse with wings
You know what I’d do?
I would fly to where you are
So I’d stop missing you.

Mind Machine Journey #2

Imogen is a princess who secretly married a man called Posthumus.  Because of this, her father, the British king, is angry and sends Posthumus away to a faraway land.  Imogen misses him very much.

Posthumus now lives in Italy and tells everybody about how beautiful and wonderful his wife Imogen is.  However, a very bad and jealous man called Iachimo lies to Posthumus about how Imogen doesn’t love him any more, and Posthumus becomes so angry that he makes a plan to punish Imogen.

Imogen doesn’t know any of this, so when she receives a letter from Posthumus telling her where he is, she is so happy and excited to go to him that she wishes she had a horse with wings to taker her to him more quickly.

I Don’t Know What to Say (sung by Cordelia from “King Lear”)

People ask of me
They ask me every day
To tell them how I feel
But I don’t know what to say.

My daddy asked to me,
“How much do you love me?”
But I became so meek,
I had no words to speak.

I want to speak out loud
When I’m in a crowd
But I don’t have a choice
I always lose my voice.

People ask of me
To tell them how I feel
They ask me every day
But I don’t know what to say.
